Hi there! I’m John Cuccio, the photographer behind Candid Canine Captures. Photography has always been my passion; I have been taking photos for 15 years. It wasn’t until I combined it with my love for dogs that I truly found my calling.

At Candid Canine Captures, my goal is to create images that tell your dog’s story. I focus on capturing authentic moments—whether it's a playful leap, a loving gaze, or an adventurous spirit—that reflect your dog’s personality.

I’m also a full-time dog hiker with Active Dog LLC, where I get to spend my days exploring the outdoors with pups of all shapes and sizes. Growing up with Golden Retrievers by my side, I’ve always felt a special connection to dogs and their unique qualities.

Before diving into the world of photography, I spent eight years in the auto industry where I worked closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver top notch customer service.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors, hiking with dogs, trying new restaurants, driving my Miata, or spending time on the water.
